How many lessons do you think will get us well prepared for the “Big Day”?

This may vary by your ability to absorb the dance material, but we do recommend at least 8-10 private lessons to ensure complete satisfaction.

What are the best shoes to wear?

You want to wear comfortable heels similar to the pair you will wear at your wedding. That way you will acclimate to the height for a better performance. It is best to have shoes with ankle straps so as to not slip out of them. The last thing you need is a sprain before you walk down the aisle. Shoes with leather soles are best for ballroom dancing.

Can I bring my own music or how do I know what is a good song to dance to?

You can bring a CD or and Ipod with your song on it.  We can make suggestions for what the best song would be to dance too but the most important thing is that you choose a song that means something to you.  Our instructors can choreograph a routine to any piece of music so you can dance to your song, whatever it is.  If you are having trouble picking a song, bring in as many different tunes you like, and we can help you choose one.
